विलोभनीय समुद्र किनारे आणि सोनेरी वाळू, अल्गार्व, पोर्तुगाल (भाग २)

मागच्या भागात म्हटल्याप्रमाणे अल्गारमध्ये निसर्गाची उधळण भरपूर आहे पण त्यात विविधतासुद्धा आहे. माझ्यामते डोंगर आणि समुद्राचे संयोजन पर्यटनाच्या दृष्टीने सर्वोच्च प्राधान्यामध्ये येतात. कपलसाठी उंच कडाच्या (cliffside trails) बाजूने सुंदर ट्रेक होतो आणि कुटुंबियासाठी समुद्राच्या गुहांनी वेढेलेली सोनेरी वाळू खूप आकर्षित करते. जर डोंगर आणि समुद्राचा कंटाळा आला तर सुंदर छोटी गावे आणि माळरानवरच्या व डोंगरवरच्या संत्राच्या बागा म्हणजे चेरी ऑन टॉप.

आम्ही सुरवातीला सागरी गुहा असलेल्या मोठ्या चुनखडीच्या कमानी असलेल्या किनाऱ्यांना भेटी दिल्या. इकडे पोहचण्यासाठी लहान, मोठे, वृद्ध सर्वांसाठी प्रशासनने जबरदस्त सोय केली आहे. तुम्हाला जर डोंगरावरून किनारा आणि दूरवर समुद्र बघवायचा असेल तर कड्यावर जाण्यासाठी लाकडी मार्ग आणि टोकावर सेल्फी सदृश्य स्टेज बांधले आहे. जर तुम्ही अडवेंचर्स असाल तर एक छोटीशी वाट पकडून कड्यावरुन समुद्राला समांतर असे चालत जाऊ शकता. वरील दोन्ही पर्याय नको असतील तर काहीठिकाणी लाकडी किंवा सीमेंटच्या पायऱ्या बांधल्या आहेत आणि त्यासुद्धा हेल्थ एंड सेफ्टी विचारात घेऊन. काही ठिकाणी चक्क सरकते जिने आणि एलिव्हेटर्स बांधले आहेत किनाऱ्यावर जाण्यासाठी.

लागोसचे समुद्र किनारे - स्नेहलने लागोसच्या आजूबाजूच्या सुंदर किनारे आधीच शोधून ठेवले होते म्हणूनच आम्हाला उंच कडे असलेले किनारे बघता आले.

डॉल्फिन सफारी - अल्बुफेरा आणि लागोस वरून डॉल्फिन बोट सफारी उपलब्ध आहेत आणि यामध्ये तुम्ही मोठ्या गुहा आतून आणि बाहेरून बघू शकता. आम्ही अल्बुफेरा वरून स्पीड बोट घेतली आणि सलगडोसच्या किनारपट्टीवर दोन डॉल्फिननी दर्शन दिले. जेव्हा बोटीने बेनेगिलच्या किनारा सोडल्यानंतर खोल समुद्रात नेले तेव्हा कुठे परत दोन छोट्या डॉल्फिनला जवळून बघता आले. जर तुम्ही छोटी बोट कराल तर तुम्हाला जास्त डॉल्फिन बघता येतील.

बेनेगिल गुहा - ही एक नैसर्गिक आश्चर्य असणारी जागा आहे. या गुहेवरचा छतावरील भागात मोठे भगदाड पडले आहे आणि त्यातून सूर्यप्रकाश येतो. पाण्याचा प्रवाहामुळे एक छोटासा किनारा सुद्धा निर्माण झाला आहे. या छोट्या किनाऱ्यावर येण्यासाठी २ माणसी बोट (Kayaking) स्वतः चालवत यावी लागते. एक जण चक्क बाजूच्या मोठ्या किनाऱ्यावरून या गुहेत पोहत येत होता.

अल्बुफेरा - आतापर्यंत मी बघितेतल्या समुद्र किनाऱ्यामधला सर्वोत्तम किनाऱ्यांपैकी एक.

The golden sandy seashore, Algarve, (Part 2)

Algarve has emerged as a nature-rich destination, filled with diverse landscapes. According to me, the combination of hills and the sea takes precedence in terms of tourism. For couples, there are beautiful treks along the cliff sides and for families, the golden sand surrounded by sea caves is a big draw. If you get tired of the mountains and the sea, the pretty little villages and orange groves on the slopes and hills are the cherry on top.

We initially visited beaches with massive cliffs and sea caves. To reach here, the administration has made tremendous efforts for everyone, be it young, old, or elderly. If you wish to see the sea from the mountains and far beyond, they have constructed wooden walkways and platforms for selfie-worthy scenes. For adventure seekers, a short walk along the cliff can be a thrilling experience. If both the above options are not desired, wooden or cement steps are constructed in some places and all safety and health measures have been considered. Some spots have escalators and elevators installed for reaching the shores.

Lagos Beaches - Snehal Masalkar Rane did good research and found amazing seashores with cliffs at Lagos.

Dolphin boat safaris are available from Albufeira and Lagos and allow you to see the large caves inside and out. We took a speed boat from Albufeira and had a couple of dolphin sightings off the coast of Salgados. When the boat left the Benagil coast and entered the open sea, we came across two small dolphins up close. If you take a small boat, you are likely to see more dolphins.

Benagil Cave - This is a place of natural wonder. Due to the massive landslide in this cave, sunlight enters. Because of the flow of water, a small shore has also been formed. To reach this coast, a small boat operated by two people (Kayaking) is required.

Albufeira is one of the best beaches I've ever seen.
